FSSC 22000 Certification

Version: FSSC22000 version 7, May 2014.

Food is a global trade and food safety is in sharp focus. The new FSSC 22000 standard is built around companies implementing an effective management system and effective food safety measures.

FSSC 22000 is based on ISO 22000:2005 and ISO/TS 22002-1:2009.

HACCP, as adopted by Codex Alimentarius, forms the basis for FSSC 22000, with a focus on the prerequisite programmes (PRPs). FSSC 22000 has been approved as a standard by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and is therefore accepted by the major food retailers in Europe.
